The jar displays some interesting manufacturing crudity, in that there were apparently some chunks of scale buildup on the mold surface that left shallow indentions on the front of the jar which obliterated parts of the lettering. This is one of the rarest and earliest of all Ball-made jars, with only a couple of examples known to exist.
