An aqua pint "J&B" jar in fine condition including the very scarce original zinc cap with raised octagonal wrench boss on top. The neck of the jar is made with an octagonal shoulder to accept another wrench to aid in opening the jar. Sparkling glass with no damage or stains. The ground mouth is perfect. The cap is in fine shape and clean with very little corrosion, which is rare to find. Base: "1".

A large early free-blown utility jar in a strong olive green color. Beautifully crude glass character and is without damage. There is a light trace of content deposit inside the base. Sheared and fire polished mouth and a jagged open pontil scarred base (one manufacturer's pontil bruise). Good heavy base wear, indicative of it's age. This vessel design was meant to be closed by a cheese cloth which was tied down by a string. Measures roughly 11-1/4 inches tall and 5 inches in base diameter.

This aqua half gallon is a scarce version of "THE QUEEN" jar, with a ring of patent date lettering encircling the logo. Strong embossing and shiny glass without damage. The ground mouth has the usual manufacturer's roughness and flaking all around. There is some light content deposit inside the lower section of the jar. The glass insert cap has one edge chip. Original oversize zinc screw band, with old tape on the inside to allow it tighten. Base: "7". An impressive looking early jar.
