These rare jars are notorious for poor embossing that is sometimes nearly invisible, but this example is the exception, and one of the best you will find, with a nice clear embossed logo and lettering. A yellow amber pint FLACCUS BROS TRADE MARK (STEER HEAD) FRUIT JAR. Thick ground mouth and original one-piece threaded glass cap closure. There's no damage or stain on the jar. The glass cap has the usual flaking on the internal threads, but works smoothly on the jar. A great looking colored Flaccus jar.

An aqua half gallon sized example with sparkling glass that displays a light whittled effect. Good embossing which has been highlighted by the previous collector but can be easily removed. Original heavy iron wire clamp and comes with a Gilberds Improved style aqua glass lid. Beautiful condition throughout with no damage or stains. Excellent ground rim with very little nicking. A great looking example in the scarce half gallon size.

This early light amber applied top wax sealer quart displays some lovely glass character with seed bubbles and swirling as shown. Nice condition with sparkling glass and no damage or stains with the exception of one small flake on the outer ring (not even visible in the photo). Unmarked base.

A light to medium yellow-olive quart Mason that is embossed on the base "WCD 86". This logo is attributed to the WC DePauw Co of New Albany, Indiana. Sparkling glass with good embossing and no damage or stains. Excellent ground rim with very little nicking. A great looking colored quart Mason.

A half gallon TRADE MARK LIGHTNING jar in a rare Yellow Green coloration. Sparkling clean glass throughout with no damage or stains. Correct matching colored glass lid and original wire bail closure. The embossing is fine, just not showing up well in the first photo. A highly-appealing and very scarce color for the half gallon size.

A deep, dark amber half gallon Mason with extra strong embossing and a gorgeous heavy whittled effect throughout. Sparkling glass with no damage or stains. The ground rim has the normal minor roughness. This is truly a striking jar.

A very strong color for this series, and this quart is a fine example with nice clean glass. The top rim does have some  minor shallow flaking, but otherwise no damage at all.
