An extremely scarce color YELLOW quart embossed "MASONS (Hero Cross) PATENT NOV 30TH 1858". Medium or better embossing. The color is very nearly a pure yellow without amber or green tones. Sparkling condition with no damage or stains except for flaking off the ground mouth. Base: Hero date encircling an underscored "467". Comes with a good early correct lettered zinc cap. A rare color for this series in quart size.
