An extremely rare color, this bright Cornflower Blue half gallon is embossed on the front "MASONS CFJCo PATENT NOV 30TH 1858", and on the reverse side: "CLYDE, N.Y." A beautiful example with a crude and whittly glass character and good strong embossing. Comes with a correct CFJCo zinc cap. Fine condition with no damage. The ground mouth has the normal edge flaking. Base: "H84". A fantastic specimen in a strong and appealing color.
