An aqua half gallon embossed in strongly raised sharp lettering: "HILTONS PAT MAR 10TH 1868". The glass displays a fantastic heavily whittled effect from top to bottom. Correct original glass lid and a replacement clamp (no original clamps known).  The smooth fire polished lip finish is perfect. No damage or stains. Has a tiny manufacturer's pot stone inside the letter "S" with slight radiations. Base: "MASS GLASS Co". An exceptionally fine example in a rare half gallon size.
