An extremely scarce regular mouth size version, embossed on the front: "MASONS PATENT NOV 30th 1858" and on the reverse with a Hero Cross figure. The mold was originally a small-mouth midget mold, and was later recut to make regular mouth size jars. The lettering from the original midget mold was all retained except for MASONS, which was cut deeper, and in a slightly different style.
