A deep amber quart embossed: "MASONS PATENT NOV 30TH 1858" and on the base: "PAT NOV 26 67" encircling a "183". Shiny glass with a nice light whittled effect. The embossing is very strong and sharp. No damage or stains including a good ground mouth with very little nicking. Comes with the correct Hero zinc cap. A great looking, sparkling jar.
