Color: AQUAMARINE
Closure: correct original unmarked glass lid and correct original zinc band with two vertical wrench lugs and clearly readable patent date lettering
Appearance: shiny with a light whittled effect
Condition: no damage, normal nicking of the ground mouth
Strength of embossing: strong
Base: unmarked (which is highly unusual)
Age: c1860's
Availability: scarce, and one of the best examples of this Hemingray-made jar
