An early aqua quart odd-closured jar embossed "THE VALVE JAR CO PHILADELPHIA". Shiny glass with good embossing and no damage or stains. Good ground rim with very little flaking. Correct original glass lid and a coiled wire clamp. The clamp has every appearance of age, but is probably a good replica. A great looking old jar.
