Embossing: strong, and note the unusual lettering arrangement, with "LIGHTNING" positioned higher and closer to "TRADE MARK", and with the lettering more squeezed together, and aligned somewhat off to the right of "TRADE MARK"
Base: "PUTNAM" with a raised dot, no mold number is visible
Age: late 1800's
Availability: scarce in this bold color and a sharp looking example
