Closure:  correct original glass insert in unusually good shape with only some small edge flakes, the wire is a modern addition

Appearance:  shiny glass

Condition:  one pinhead sized nick on the mouth

Embossing:  strong

Base: bare iron pontil scar with some tiny traces of black

Age:  1850's
