An aqua quart embossed in script lettering: JOHN M MOORE & CO MANUFACTURERS FISLERVILLE NJ. And below that in block lettering: PATENTED DEC 3d 1861. Sparkling glass with some nice crude character and seed bubbling. Beautiful condition throughout with no damage or stains including a perfect applied mouth and a rare perfect correct domed glass lid with embossed patent date. Both sqaure lugs on the lid are perfect with not even a nick. Original cast iron yoke clamp with thumbscrew still retains some of the original black paint. Base: unmarked.
