Description
Size: QUART
Color: AQUAMARINE
Closure: original glass lid with 4 vertical lugs (has the usual edge roughness/flaking and a manufacturer's chip at the bottom of the center hole from the making)
Appearance: crude, seedy and sparkling glass throughout
Condition: small manufacturer's pot stone as shown, with tiny radiating legs
Embossing: strong
Base: a large "5" and three raised "feet"
Age: 1860's
Availability: scarce early jar and a great looking example
