An aqua half gallon odd-closured jar embossed: THE SCHAFFER JAR ROCHESTER NY and on the reverse with a JSC monogram. Good condition with no damage at all including a perfect ground rim. The glass has somewhat of a hazy appearance but no damage. Correct original elaborate metal clamp assembly and original domed glass lid with aptent date. Base: "2" embossef backwards.
