An aqua half gallon that is embossed: "THE PURITAN TRADE MARK FRUIT JAR LSCo" with a pictorial of a sailing ship. The embossing is light as normal for this series. Shiny glass with no damage or stains. Has a nice crude feature on the front from the original making as shown. Excellent ground rim with very little flaking. Original glass lid and a reproduction metal closure that looks old. The base is unmarked.
