A clear (totally colorless) half gallon TRADE MARK LIGHTNING jar. This is a genuine hand-blown, North American made Lightning jar, not an Australian one. Sparkling condition with no damage or stains, with the exception of a tiny bruise on the top sealing ledge as shown. Good ground mouth with very little flaking. Comes with a clear CLYDE, NY Lightning style glass lid and original wire bail closure. Base: "PUTNAM 287". Rare in true clear glass.
