A deep golden yellow (no amber tone and no green tone) quart embossed in a large lettering style. Sparkling glass throughout with no damage or stains. Minor chipping of the ground mouth. Comes with an unusual style of zinc cap impressed "MASON FRUIT JAR CO PHILADa", but missing the usual Keystone figure. Base: "V". A gorgeous colored 1858 jar.
