A deep amber half gallon applied lip wax sealer, embossed on the base: "KYGWCo" (for the Kentucky Glass Works of Louisville, KY). Shiny glass with a ring of content deposit on the inside. Exceptionally good condition with not the slightest nick on the applied mouth. This is rare for this particular series, as the lips were very prone to chipping. Comes with an early unmarked tin cap as well as Phil's green labels indicating the provenance.

A rich & bright olive green quart embossed with a Hero Cross above: "MASONS PATENT NOV 30TH 1858". Sparkling glass that displays a good strong whittled effect all over. Sharp embossing and no damage or stains. Normal flaking of the ground mouth. Comes with a good Hero zinc cap. Base: "PAT NOV 26 67" encircling a "97".

A deep honey amber shoulder seal quart embossed: "MASONS PATENT NOV 30TH 1858". Sparkling glass with no damage or stains. The ground mouth has the usual edge flaking. Comes with an early lettered zinc cap. Base: a large "10" (backwards-embossed "1").

A clear pint embossed: "THE DAISY JAR". Sparkling glass without damage or stains. The ground mouth has a long shallow sliver chip. Comes with the correct original glass lid with 1888 patent date, and the correct style iron clamp with rotating cam-lock device. The 3-piece clamp appears to be old and original, but is actually a skillful replica made entirely out of iron. Possibly a Frank Thrine replica. Base: unmarked. Very scarce in this small size.

A quart TRADE MARK LIGHTNING in a great yellow olive color. Shiny glass without damage or stains. Excellent ground mouth with very little nicking. Correct matching color glass lid and original wire bail clamp. Base: "PUTNAM 337". This was one of Phil's best colored Lightning jars.

A quart BALL PERFECT MASON in a good deep yellowish olive green color. Bright and clean condition with no damage or stains. Base: an underscored "6".

A light purple tinted pint embossed with a full Crown figure and "CORONET" which is superimposed over a peened-out "CROWN". Shiny glass with a smooth lip finish and no damage or stains. The clear glass insert has an embossed Crown. Base: unmarked.

A strongly amber/green swirled half gallon embossed: "MASONS PATENT NOV 30TH 1858". Smooth lip finish. Shiny glass throughout with no damage or stains. Base: five raised dots. A dramatically colored 1858 Mason.

A clear quart embossed identically on both the front and the back in an upside-down arrangement: "WAGNER LOCKHEED FLUID REFILLER". Sparkling glass with no damage or stains with the exception of a tiny flake at one neck dimple socket. Base: Owens-Illinois logo. Rare.

A dark amber quart embossed: "MASONS PATENT NOV 30TH 1858". Sparkling glass with great character including a good overall whittled effect. Shiny condition with no damage or stains. Comes with an early lugged zinc cap. Base: "0".

A light aqua tinted quart example in sparkling condition. No damage or stains. Base: "1". The word "TIGHT" has been peened off the mold in the front and back of the neck collar and moved to the sides. A scarce old store brand jar.

A medium amber pint embossed: "THE LEADER". Note this is the extremely scarce pint version with the embossing arranged in two lines instead of one. Sparkling condition with no damage or stains. Normal flaking of the ground mouth edge. Original glass lid with 1892 patent date, and the original 2-piece iron clamp assembly. Base: "8". A great looking example of a very tough-to-find pint.

A quart TRADE MARK LIGHTNING jar in a good bright honey amber color. Strong embossing and sparkling glass with no damage or stains, and displays a light whittled effect. The ground mouth has some flaking and was ground on a slight slant. Matching glass lid and original wire bail closure. Base: "PUTNAM 250".

A light SCA purple tinted quart embossed: "MASONS PATENT NOV 30TH 1858" and on the reverse with a TUDOR ROSE or "snowflake" emblem. Strong embossing and sparkling glass without damage or stains. Comes with a plain unmarked zinc cap with a milk glass pickle-pusher immerser insert with 1880 patent date as shown. Base: "A" over a "46".

A quart GLOBE in a slightly deeper than usual color of reddish-tinted amber color. All original including the matching glass lid with 1886 patent date, and the original 3-piece iron clamp assembly. Shiny glass without damage. The ground mouth has edge flaking. Base: "51".

An aqua quart embossed: "MASONS X PATENT NOV 30TH 1858" and on the base: "L&W". Shiny glass with strong embossing and no damage or stains. The ground mouth has some flaking and is ground on a slant following the slope of the top thread, and appears to have been done that way originally. Comes with an early CFJCo zinc cap. Scarce.

A clear square-shaped half gallon with an old-style Lightning neck seal and embossed on a shield in script: "CANADIAN KING". Sparkling glass with no damage or stains. Base: unmarked. Very scarce in this large size.

A strong yellow green colored half gallon embossed: "MASONS PATENT NOV 30TH 1858". Shiny condition with no damage or stains. Normal flaking of the ground mouth. Base; "2".

This aqua half gallon was blown in a reworked mold that was originally used to make "THE BALL PAT APLD FOR" series. The script Ball logo was retained, and block lettering was added below that to read: "MASONS IMPROVED PATENT 1858". Sparkling condition with no damage or stains. The ground mouth is perfect. Comes with the correct Ball Bros Buffalo, NY glass insert lid (small flake on the edge). Base: "8".

A hand blown dark amber squatty quart-sized gauze jar with it's original red printed label that wraps around three sides of the jar, for B&B (Bauer & Black) sterile gauze. Original fancy metal screw band and original amber glass insert. The threaded mouth has a short crack as shown. The ground mouth has normal flaking. Base: unmarked.
