Sparkling glass with some nice crude character and seed bubbling. Beautiful condition throughout with no damage or stains including a perfect applied mouth and a rare perfect correct domed glass lid with embossed patent date. Both sqaure lugs on the lid are perfect with not even a nick. Original cast iron yoke clamp with thumbscrew still retains some of the original black paint. Base: unmarked.

An aqua pint embossed in script: THE BALL, and in block lettering: PAT APLD FOR. Comes with the rare correct original metal cap which still retains traces of tin plating on the top. Original neck wire and original 2-piece wire clamp assembly. The metal cap is in good shape with some small nibbles at the very bottom edge. The jar is in good shape with no damage and a good ground rim with the normal minor edge flaking. There is a minimal amount of scattered dullness and light scuffing on the jar. Base: "1" (embossed backwards). Rare to find this jar in pint size, and extremely rare to find the original cap.
